my three children have the most magnificent tantrums. i often think of what a release it must be to react to disappointment with such a dramatic display, although being on the receiving end of it is not nearly as satisfying. i frequently caution my children against getting too involved in the drama of their bad feelings because the bluebird of happiness might land nearby and go unnoticed.
